Well Kathy is really loving this trip because she has everyone telling her she is not old enough to have grandkids!

Our fearless leader... emotionally and spiritually exhausted from the day, and physically exhausted from his team (Just kidding!) We are truly blessed to be lead by such a God honoring and obedient person!

But as you can tell we are still missing someone... I guess we will have to get Alex tomorrow.

So what where we up to on Monday...

Monday was the men's clothing room, and what an amazing and full day it was! We started preparing for clothing room by shuffling boxes first out of the tiny little room and hauling boxes from the basement. Almost ever week the changing room has to be changed over because one week is men's clothing, next is womens and then childrens.

The first thing that struck our team was the Oasis Team and how smoothly the whole process went... of course no team is a perfect team, but this team looked pretty darn close to that! Everyone has a specific role, but once that role is done everyone has the role of helping each other out until all jobs are completed. There is nothing said... it just happens as smooth as can be.

The other thing that was different for us is that just before clothing room was about to start we all gathered into the clothing room and prayed as a team. I can't tell you the last time I prayed just before a program or project began... usually people are always in the last minute rush to get every detail perfect, but this team knows how to do it right. The lift every ministry up to God... seems simple, but when we rush to make everything perfect aren't we forgetting to let God be in charge?

Ultimately everything we do has come from Him first, so why don't we let Him lead us completely through out the programs or projects we are doing. I know a lot of you will say easier said then done, but the next time you do something plan a prayer time at least 15 minutes before what you are doing. Lift it all up to God, give thanks to Him, and then let Him completely guide you...

So how is our team doing? We are having an amazing time... and as Tom stated today he was in awe by watching each of us do our thing. Tom said he could see each of our gifts being used by God and to see it all come together reminded him how God put this team together, one by one and His plan was being done. We all agreed... and we also said that we were so excited to see how 7 people who don't know each other that well could come together so quickly and work so seamlessly. Obviously that is a God thing :-)
